An intergalactic start is what welcomes us to the world of Nia Andrews in The Road (Intro). You are transferred into a world that gives life to your creative side in the record No Place Is Safe.

“When you’d go away from me. I’d stay and wait for you.” begins to linger which allows you to see a soft side of Andrews. Drums are heard in the background as she sings “And now it’ll linger in the quiet of your heart. ”

“Imagine the both of us free….we can sit under our favorite tree.” is heard in Might Be Eternity that gives a calm energy to Andrews’ sound.

Call Your Name is a softly sung ballad that allows the listener to really understand the creative flow of the album. “Pretending you don’t think of me…I didn’t call your name.” “Be a smart girl this cannot happen again,” sings Andrews as she talks of losing your common sense over love in Be a Smart Girl.

Cleo and the King tells the story of two lovers and the complications that come with relationships. “They don’t know but you and I do. The role of you the role of you. Perfectly casted and played by us two. Played by us two.”

Another tune titled Ho’oponopono(Interlude) is sprinkled with “I love you.” over and over again.

The Ceiling is an upbeat jazzy song that explains the feelings of an angry woman. “Cause I’m feeling like I pushed you to the ceiling. No one can put me out when I’m this fired up!” is sung while a lively piano plays in the background.

Joyful harmonies welcome your ears when you hear Seems So. Over analyzing everyday situations in your mind is what this song is about. Andrews belts, “And I love how you don’t give a mutha-and I wish I didn’t think so much!”

A sad piano ushers you into the slow song Little Girl. “She don’t trust nobody no,not even you but tell her that I won’t ever fail. Fail her no.” sings Andrews.

Exploring past experiences and trusting no one is what this ballad is centered on. Four minutes of acoustic guitar is what you get with Old Man.

This musical journey ends with lyrics like “There are things that I wanna do but I don’t make plans.“Being whole-hearted in a scary world” is what Andrews sings of to conclude the album.

No Place Is Safe is available where ever music is sold.
