The vision of Beverly Bond was in full bloom at the 2019 Black Girls Rock! Awards. To the golden-colored “Red Carpet” or the beautiful floral chandeliers, the stars were shining bright to honor Black women in tech, business, service, and entertainment. Sheen Magazine was there to capture the beauty and fashion of this year’s honorees and celebrity guests.

A endearing embrace between Grammy Award-Winning Artists Brandy & H.E.R. was a graceful moment of sisterhood. While R&B Crooner Raheem DeVaughn shared with us details about his new album and OWN’s Greenleaf actress Merle Dandridge was gorgeous in a silver-embelished one-piece. When it comes to beauty Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst exuded natural beauty and shared her Black Girls Rock Awards! 2019 hair must-have was hairspray for volume and shine. The Jamla Records “Japan” Songstress Heather Victoria gave us a fresh look with a fierce leopard print high-waisted pant with off-the-shoulder top. While her label mate Grammy-Nominated Artist Rapsody walked the “Golden Carpet” rocking her Bantu Knots after releasing her highly-anticipated “Eve” album.  The empowering ladies of “Mothers of the Movement” were regal in white as they stood in solidarity for the loss of their children. Singer and Rapper MuMu Fresh was radiant in gold with an elegant maroon-hued braided hair look that was absolutely flawless.
