If you are a person that suffers from acne, whether in you teen or adult years and you prefer the most effective natural way to cure and clear your skin once again, the best option is to use home remedies. This will give you the same results naturally that you wish to receive without the chemical imbalance that most products give. The question that many people have when it comes to home remedies is, ‘what can I use on my skin that will remove this problem? How often should it be done? Will it really work?’ Well, these are great questions and I will prove to you with a few remedies, how to mix them and how to apply them. The most important to keep in mind, nothing is an overnight cure, the time you put into taking care of yourself, both inside and out, the better your result. Also, drinking water regularly is the first natural remedies for everything you are looking to improve within your body.

A few remedies to use are surprisingly right in your refrigerator, such as:


1. Apply apple cider vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar kills off the bacteria that may cause issues or problems. Becoming alkaline and balancing out the pH of your skin makes it more difficult for bacteria to survive. It’s also an astringent and will help to dry excessive oil.


Pure unfiltered apple cider vinegar and fresh water

Wash your face with water and pat dry. Mixing the 1 part vinegar and 3 parts water, dip a cotton ball into vinegar and apply it directly to the blemish. Allow the application to sit for at least 10 minutes or overnight, this should be repeated several times a day. Finally, be sure to wash the mixture off completely and moisturize as needed.

2. Cinnamon and honey mask

Cinnamon has antimicrobial properties, which stops bacteria from getting worse and the honey is a natural antibiotic.

2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and paper towels

Rinse your face with water and pat dry. First, mix both the honey and cinnamon together until they are blended completely and form a paste. Next, apply the mixture to your face to make a mask, then allow the mask to sit for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, rinse the mask off completely and pat dry.


3. The land of milk and honey (or yogurt)

1 tablespoon plain low-fat or full-fat yogurt or milk (anything but skim) and 1 tablespoon of natural, raw, honey

Make sure the yogurt or milk is or as close to room temperature as possible for your facial application. First, mix the milk or yogurt thoroughly with the honey, then apply the mixture onto your face. Be sure to allow each layer to completely dry before adding another, repeat applications until the mask has the desired thickness. Allow the mask to sit for 10-15 minutes. Wash your face completely when removing the mask and use a washcloth to gently scrub in a circular motion, to remove the dead skin.

4. Mix strawberries and honey

Strawberries are high in salicylic acid, opening up clogged pores, and neutralizing bacteria. It also shrinks up the pores some, which prevents them from clogging up as much in the future, and helps for new cell to grow. Honey also works against bacteria that may be behind your acne and is an anti-inflammatory.

3 fresh strawberries, washed well and 2 teaspoons of honey (raw honey is best)

Wash your face with water and pat dry. First, rinse 3 strawberries and mash them, however not to over mash them or make them runny. Mix together the strawberries and two teaspoons of honey. Once the mix is completed, apply the mixture to your face and allow it to sit for 20 minutes. Finally, rinse your face completely with warm water, pat dry, and if needed moisturize. It is suggested to repeat this twice a week a month.

5. Banana peel

Banana peels contain lutein, an extremely powerful antioxidant that reduces swelling and inflammation, also helping the growth of the healthy cell. Rubbing a banana peel on your face can reduce redness, and discomfort of acne.

1 banana peel

Take the peel, and rub in a circular motion on your face. Once you’ve covered your entire face, let it sit for at least 30 minutes before rinsing it off.
