“Beyonce’s coming”

The pop superstar has a subtle way of saying “I’m on the way!” Fans all over the world knew she was up to something after the removal of all of her profile pics last week and a cryptic collage of album covers with a “mysterious” arm pointing to Brandy’s B7 album. Get it? Beyonce? Album number 7? Anywho,  7 years after the release of the iconic Lemonade album, Beyoncé has announced the release date for her 7th album, “Renaissance.”

Just last year Beyoncé hinted at the release of the Renaissance album in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar saying,”With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible,” she explained. “I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there’s nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!”

We’re going to go ahead and assume that the “act i” subtitle means we will see Bey a lot this summer. Many fans are hoping for multiple projects. For now, all we know is the album is set to release on July 29th. There are also boxsets available for pre-order. The sets will include a cd, t-shirt, posters, a 28-page photo booklet and more. You ready?
