If you’ve never heard of double cleansing, get ready to be intrigued. It’s kind of common sense but to be honest, I never knew it to be a thing.

It’s huge in some cultures, its huge in Korean skincare and it’s a must-try because you’re never going to go back to regular cleansing.

I always end the day by removing my makeup with a cleansing wipe and then using a facial cleanser to wash off the remaining residue. Jokes on me because I was still breaking out terribly and there was still makeup left on my face! With a little research, I found that there was a solution to all of this, a cleansing balm.

Over the course of three months, I have tried what feels like to be a million different cleansing balms and let me tell you, it’s crazy how much makeup and gunk is still left on your skin.

Here are a few of my favorite cleansing balms that I know you will enjoy too!

Versed Day Dissolve Cleansing Balm, $17.99

Sometimes, balling on a budget is just necessary. If you’re looking for a high-quality product for an affordable price, this one is for you! It’s smooth and melts right into the skin. It will even get rid of the waterproof mascara and is super light on the skin!

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm, $30

This cleansing balm is good for all skin types! Whether you’re oily, combo, or dry, it will melt away any trace of makeup or sunscreen on your face. It is also light weight and though it is a balm, it transitions into oil and finally to milk! Yeah, you read that right. It is not greasy which is a huge plus for me! While taking away the makeup, it will nourish the skin while cleansing it in order to give you that fresh glow!

SKINNY and CO. Cleansing Balm, $25

Okay, I have to admit. The only reason I tried this product is because I witnessed Adrienne Bailon-Houghton use it in a skincare video on her YouTube channel. She could not quit praising it and after giving it a try, I can see why. Since purchasing it, I could not get enough of it, my skin clearly looked healthier and a little goes a long way.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Balm, $38

Will you look at that?! IT Cosmetics has done it once again, folks! This balm worked wonders for a girl that layers on the mascara and liquid lipsticks day to day! It washed away all the makeup on my face without leaving any residue and for someone that breaks out easily, I didn’t find that problem in using this product.
