This past weekend, luxury swimsuit brand, Curvy Fox, debuted its second collection at New York Fashion Week, Thinness Does Not Equal Beauty. The swimsuit line features bold, trendy designs in sizes 6 to 32! To celebrate such an amazing feat for a brand that has only been existence for a little over a year, designer and creator, Christina Howell hosted ‘NYFW Curvy Confidence Bar’, a celebratory mixer/after-party. Held at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square, guests were treated to mini bites and sparkling drinks. Fashion bloggers and enthusiasts, models and creatives mingled and danced throughout the night, as Dallas-based DJ, DJ Lavish played all the latest and hottest music. Toward the end of the night, Howell shared with guests that she created Curvy Fox because she “wanted women to feel empowered in what and where they are, regardless of size.” Guests were also treated to swag bags filled with goodies from Curvy Fox sponsors, CURLS, Susan & Me, Noughty Haircare, 21Squared, Aja Naturals, Urban Skin Rx, Defy & Inspire, CURA Skincare.
