Everyone loves a little HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). Overall, HIIT produces many of the same health benefits as other forms of exercise in a shorter amount of time. A few of my favorite HIIT exercises include Star Jumps, Plank Jacks, Mountain Climbers, and Flutter Kicks. Give these movements a try during your next HIIT routine and trust me you will feel the burn!


Let’s be proactive this year and plan our meals. There are so many benefits that comes from planning our meals which include saving money, saving time, controlling our weight based on our goals, and it helps reduce last minute decisions about what to eat (which are usually our unhealthy drive-thru options). Make it a goal this year to plan your meals. Suggested lunch meal prep:  Chicken breast, asparagus, sweet potatoes, with a small green salad using balsamic vinaigrette for dressing.
