Kenan Discusses Creating Space for Aspiring Comics To Shine, Building Career Longevity, and what’s next!
The iconic Emmy award-winning comedian Kenan Thompson returned to his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, to debut the 11th season of “Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience”! SHEEN Magazine was on site to capture all of the magic!
Kenan’s competition series creates space for new and aspiring comics to gain visibility and exposure on a major stage. Kenan’s dedication to his craft and humble spirit speaks to his success in this industry. Kenan is not only legendary for hit shows like “Kenan and Kel,” “All That,” and “The Good Burger” movie, but he’s also the longest-standing cast member on “Saturday Night Live”! Kenan continues to give back and pave the way for comics worldwide.
The 11th season of “Kenan’s Ultimate Comedy Experience” will highlight celebrity guest judges; T.I., Melody Holt, Lee Lee Lyons (SWV), Keisha Knight Pulliam, Brad James and more! Kenan packed the Atlanta Comedy Theater out for two days straight. Comedians Lil Rel and Lavar Walker also attended. Lavar Walker revealed he will be starring in a new comedy series on Hulu on March 18th, “Life and Beth,” also starring Amy Schumer! Fans truly enjoyed a night of good laughs, great company, and many surprises!
