Hollywood’s biggest award show is just hours away!

The night has finally come. Are you ready to see which one of your favorite stars will walk away from the awards ceremony with an Oscar?

Before popping the popcorn and open the champagne to tune into the show, we thought we’d share a few important details you should know before you tune in.

When is the big show?

The 91st Academy Awards will take place tonight, February 24th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood! To watch from home, the awards begin at 8PM EST with the red carpet show beginning at 6PM. You can catch the show LIVE on ABC.

Who will host the 2019 Oscars?

For the first time in 30 years, the Oscars will go without a host since comedian and actor, Kevin Hart stepped down from the job.

Who leads the pack?

For starters, the Academy casts their votes to decide who the winner of each category will be. Voting closed on February 19th and the PriceWaterhouseCoopers tallied all the votes.

The Academy’s official website states that only two of the PwP partners know the results until the envelopes are revealed.

This year, The Favourite and Roma leads the pack with 10 nominations each! A Star is Born and Vice have eight noms each while history-making Black Panther is nominated for Best Picture.

It is the first superhero film to be nominated in this category. For the complete list of nominees, click here!
