One of Hollywood’s biggest nights is almost here!

That’s right, the 90th Academy Awards will celebrate Hollywood’s biggest stars tonight at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Even though The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees back in January, we still thought we would give you a few pointers before tuning into the 2018 Oscars!

1. Jimmy Kimmel returns as host!

For the second year in a row, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! star is returning to the host the Oscars!

2. Who decides the winners of each nomination?

Who votes, you ask? The Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences votes on who will take home an Oscar for each category.

3. Which production is in the lead with nominations?

The Shape of Water heads into the 2018 Oscars tonight with a whopping 13 nominations! Besides the Best Picture nomination, Director, Guillermo Del Toro is up for Best Directing, Sally Hawkins is in the running for Best Actress in a Leader Role while Octavia Spencer and Richard Jenkins are up for the Supporting Role categories tonight.

Dunkirk comes in second with eight nominations while Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri enters The Academy Awards tonight with seven.

4. A very first for many contenders!

Mary J. Blige makes her Oscar debut! The R&B legend is up for two awards tonight, Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her role in Mudbound and for Best Original Song for “Mighty River.” In addition to her Oscars first, Daniel Kaluuya is a contender for his role in Get Out, this is also his first nomination.

5. Many of your favorite celebrities will be presenting tonight!

More than likely, your favorite celebs will be presenting at the big show tonight! Dave Chappelle, Viola Davis, Sandra Bullock, Emma Stone, Chadwick Boseman, and many more are expected to hand out awards tonight.

6. The big show starts tonight on ABC!

The 90th Academy Awards will air LIVE! tonight, March 4th at 8PM EST/5PM PST.
