Having acne can be one of the most challenging things to deal with. For me, I wasn’t comfortable in my skin and finding the right foundation was quite the task.

Luckily for me, after much digging and trial and error, I found a few of the best foundations for my skin that offered the right amount of coverage, didn’t clog my pores and didn’t enhance the textures on my face.

Now luckily for you, I have narrowed down five of the best non-comedogenic foundations. Non-what?! Non-comedogenic is a word that is used to describe a product that will not promote acne and will not block the pores on your face.

Check out a few of my tried and true foundations that have been perfect for my acne-prone skin.

Neutrogena Skin Clearing Liquid Makeup, $13.99

I was really impressed with this drugstore pickup. I haven’t always been a fan of Neutrogena products but this foundation really helped clear my skin and feels super lightweight on my face. My face has never looked so healthy.

Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation, $5.79

One of my all time favorites from the drugstore is Maybelline’s Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation. The quality plus the inexpensive price for this bad boy is great! It does not break out my skin more and provides the best coverage. My favorite thing about this foundation is that it blends to complete perfection! If you’re looking for a foundation that will leave your skin dewy without looking oily, this is your match!

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation, $39

Contains cogonut water and hyaluronic acid which gives the skin a youthful appearance while smoothing out the skin. I heard so many people raving about this foundation but I never had the courage to spend the money to buy it. Beauty lovers, it is completely worth it whether you have acne-prone skin or not! The finish is gorgeous and my skin looks amazing in pictures which is always a plus in my book!

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation, $47

Don’t let the price of this foundation scare you away because believe me when I say it is worth every penny. I have pretty oily skin and this foundation does not budge throughout the long workdays. The coverage is literally everything! Its finish is beautiful on the skin, making it feel light and appear natural.

Pacifica Alight Clean Foundation, $16

I was a bit skeptical with this foundation and I wasn’t sure why but I am so glad I took the chance and brought it home with me. Obviously since I have acne-prone skin, my skin is super sensitive. It is a medium to full coverage foundation and has a dewy finish. I’ve tried this product with both a brush and a sponge and for me, I prefer the coverage I achieved with a brush. For those days when I want to wear less makeup but need a little coverage, this is always my go-to.
