Jason Lee is best known for being the founder of the publication Hollywood Unlocked, but now he’s kicking off 2023 in a major way. On Sunday, January 8th, Jason Lee kicked off the launch of his new talk show format, The Jason Lee Show. The one-hour weekly segment aims to “unlock” a new perspective of the guests that the public eye has yet to see, simultaneously doing what they’ve always done in moving the culture forward.
The event took place at Eden Sunset in West Hollywood, California, with the beautiful Remy Ma hosting. The evening reels in celebrity guest appearances from Tiffany Haddish, Tamar Braxton, Blac Chyna, Jason Sikora, and a plethora of other influencers and tastemakers. Thanks to event’s sponsor, Deleon Tequila, this evening was undoubtedly one for the books.
When it came time to address the crowd, Jason Lee and Remy Ma entered the DJ booth and opened with congratulating one another on their successful careers and amazing comeback stories. Lee then revealed that the first guest of The Jason Lee Show would be Cardi B!
Before exiting the stage, Lee gave the crowd a powerful word about perseverance, consistency, and never giving up. But not before showing a subtle flex by catering the party with Chick-Fil-A on a Sunday. All in all, the night was a total success. The people danced, laughed, and drank until the last call. And for that brief moment in time, it felt as if Hollywood had let go of its prestige and pretentiousness for a night of good ole fashion fun.
