Tell us about yourself. What made you want to get into the entertainment industry?

Well, I was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. My grandparents, my mother, and my other sister raised me. Actually, I didn’t think I was going to become an actor. Growing up in the city, I thought sports was going to be my ticket to get out of the hood, but I ended up taking a drama class in high school. I was the class clown so I really didn’t take it seriously. I went on to college to play ball but I took a theater class and ended up in the play, Fences by August Wilson. Once opening night happened, I was hooked and knew that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
