When you want, need and demand the highest quality hair, products, and service—you call on Missy’s Hair Boutique. They will be on site and ready, with a skilled and strong celebrity stylist team comprised of, Shanzeleganz, Damienne Flagler—who has styled on the sets of Love and Hip Hop and Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, Laced by Lex aka Alexis Flagler and Relentless, both of whom are traveling stylists, as well as top-notch instructors who specialize in the healthy hair care approach to all things lace with adhesive and glue-less wig applications. In a recent interview with Missy and Lex, they not only discussed the success they’re having in the hair industry, but also the importance of teamwork. Lex is super talented, and people call her the Glue-less Guru because she’s so skilled. She described her experience with working with Jessica Dime aka, Dimepiece of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta. “I was so nervous when I first did her hair at the Clearwater location, but it came out beautifully.” Lex went on to say that she loves when people feel good about their hair. “What we try to do at every location no matter who we encounter, is treat everyone like a celebrity, because at the end of the day, we’re all humble and grateful to have clients choose us.” Missy’s team is awesomely fierce, and they are known to have clients lining up at the chance to experience their services. To keep everyone happy and as an added bonus—Missy’s Hair Boutique will be working after hours, long after the Bronner Brothers Show shuts down each evening. Missy explains, “I’m going to be inside of the show area, and I will also have a roomy and comfortable conference room where my celebrity styling team will be set up right across the street within walking distance. The reason for the extra space is because the Bronner Bros Show concludes at 6:00 P.M each night…and we bring out a crowd so large, that my team will need to work until about ten or eleven to finish up with clients.”

Missy is a true veteran in the hair industry, and she continues to make waves year after year. Speaking of waves…Missy has single-handedly created the beautiful signature look, known as the Pineapple Wave. She explains that she kept running into issues with curls either being too tight or too loose, so with that in mind, she came up with a wave like no other on the market. Known as the Plug and the Marketing Guru, Missy still remains humble with everything she does and explained the impact that this particular style is having. “The Pineapple Wave is a unique because I created it. It also plays a big, big, big role in the Missy’s Hair Boutique brand. This is also a style that makes my brand stand out from the rest. It is one of my favorite looks.

Missy’s Hair Boutique has three locations to serve you. There is one in the Tampa Bay, Florida area, another in Fort Lauderdale, and in Norcross, Georgia, which is in close proximity to Atlanta. She even has pop-up shops in Brazil where her business is also high in demand. When asked about her motto which states: Every woman deserves to have a head full of lovely hair, Missy explains why feeling good about hair is important to women as a whole. “I believe that you can always dress up, but until your hair is done, you’re not dressed up. No matter what you’re wearing, your hair looks and makes you feel good. Your hair is your crown.” I certainly agree with that statement, and Missy’s Hair Boutique certainly does a stellar job crowning Queens on a global scale.
