Nema’s Boom Boom Room (NBBR) has welcomed many talented artists to its stage over the years and last Tuesday night was no different. Curated by celebrity event planner and nightlife promoter, Nema Kamar, NBBR is the ultimate destination for emerging talent to gain priceless exposure.

Grammy-nominated artist BJ the Chicago Kid headlined the showcase, and truly owned the atmosphere. The Chicago native performed a few songs off his newly released project In My Mind, including the hit single “Church.”  The artist left an unmatched impression in New York City.

Songstress Tiffany Stevenson and Sahlence warmed up the crowd with their fluid covers of the hottest tracks and melodic original tracks. Singer Anthony Flammia beat boxing and layering harmonies with simply his mic and loop machine.

The venue was packed and the crowd was on fire. Amongst the guests were Jason Pierre-Paul (NY Giants), Bobby Trends (Hot 97), Bobby Simmons (Former NBA Player), Rappers The Slickest One Tadoe and Tweez, executives from Music Choice, and Capitol Records.
