Last weekend, we had the pleasure of meeting Jasmin & Ricardo Forts, owners of Thee Werk Place in Atlanta, GA. Their team put together an amazing Grand Re-Opening event, featuring their new and larger venue, serving entrepreneurs, pop-up-shops, industry creatives and networkers alike. — Reality TV star of Lifetime’s Little Women Atlanta, Tanya Scott served as their host for the day, keeping guests entertained and introducing some of Thee Werk Place’s newest partnerships. — Tanya also sponsored a gift giveaway for a special guest, through her all natural, eco-friendly skin and body company, Life Body Naturals.

Thee Werk Place offers an intimate, warm, and inviting atmosphere, while still being bright and ready for business talk and deal-making. Their decor makes a huge statement, featuring a beautiful greenery wall, positive and powerful affirmations, plants, and unique pieces that accentuate black culture and girl power! – Their long tables and pink, velvet upholstered chairs make for great workshop essentials, as well as impressive photo props for filming or event photography.

Speaking of photography, Thee Werk Place partners with various vendors that can be booked at a discounted rate, as a packaged deal for events; such as Belle Rouge Photography and Pour Up Atlanta.

The Grand Re-Opening event was huge success, as it featured a packed house! Women were able to ask questions, view different aspects of the space, as well as network with fellow entrepreneurs and girl bosses! — Thee Werk Place owner Jasmin Forts, says this was her dream; to be able to service women of color within the small business and creative community, with a space that is affordable, accessible and of top quality, as she closed out the event with an emotional speech of joy and gratitude. This year is definitely looking UP for black “werking” women on the rise!
