It was previously announced that Mary J. Blige and Method Man would star in the first spin-off of Power, ‘Power Book II: Ghost’ and it was just announced that actor, Omar Epps will star in the third spinoff that will surround around the character Kanan.
Power officially ended last week after six successful seasons but it looks like the Power universe won’t end just yet. There will be a total of four spinoffs!
Deadline has reported that this spinoff starring Omar Epps will revolve around Kanan’s younger years.
The second spinoff starring Mary J. Blige and Method Man will also star Michael Rainey Jr. and Naturi Naughton.
As for the two other spinoffs, ‘Power Book IV: Influence’ will center around Councilman Rashad Tate and ‘Power Book V: Force’ will allow viewers to catch up with Tommy Egan as he makes his way to California!
