Over 1.5 million people have signed a new petition going around to hate the late Kobe Bryant as the new logo for the National Basketball Association.
The petition on the Change website states, “With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA Logo.”
The 41-year-old basketball legend, his daughter Gianna, 13-years-old and seven passengers on a helicopter passed away when the helicopter crashed into a hillside in Southern California this past Sunday. Bryant is survived by his wife, Vanessa Laine Bryant and their three daughters.
Kobe Bryant is a five-time NBA champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist. He retired from the NBA in 2016.
