Walking in Paris Fashion Week, describe what type of preparation goes into such a huge moment of your career.

Paris Fashion Week has been a dream for me, an unforgettable memory I will always hold close to my heart. Paris has always been a dream city for me and not only did I get to visit Paris, but I walked in Paris Fashion Week! For me, it was the most magical experience I’ve had so far! In preparation for this huge moment, I really focused on perfecting my walk the best I could. While at the show, I tried to remain as relaxed and calm as I could while waiting to open for Adolfo Canaca. Paris Fashion Week was such a big show and a huge accomplishment within my career thus far, so I wanted to really live in the moment and enjoy every second I had walking down the runway, and backstage as well!

How did you get into modeling?

When I was younger I used to act. When I was getting my headshots done, that was the moment I fell in love with modeling. Around last year, I walked in my first ever fashion show during New York Fashion Week, and that was the start of my modeling career!

Besides beauty what else do you need to be a professional model?

With being a professional model, you definitely need to have time management skills. Always show up to castings, fittings, meetings, call times, and photoshoots early. Within that, always bring out your personality in whatever you do! Positive energy on set always brightens everyone’s mood and the outcome will be amazing!

What do you plan to bring to the fashion industry?

I want to start a fashion revolution! I want to break all the barriers and standards within the industry. Being a petite model, it has been difficult finding work, though that has not stopped me. I will not let my height, something I have no control over, hinder my dreams. Something I do have control over is my drive and passion and I make sure I put 110% of my heart and soul into everything I do. My drive has broken some standards in the fashion world so far, I have walked in NYFW three times, LAFW, Miami Swim Week, and PFW, though I want to break more. I want to be a role model for all the girls and boys who don’t fall within the modeling “standards,” I want to show them that they can, and they will achieve their dreams! I plan to bring a new era of models to the industry because we are just as powerful as 5’ 8.”
