What an incredible way to celebrate Black History Month by recognizing one of our favorite couples, The Obamas.

Today, both Barack and Michelle Obama unveiled their official portraits! The portraits will be on display at the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery.

The lovely couple each picked their own artist to complete their portrait.

Barack Obama selected Kehinde Wiley, who is a painter trained at Yale University.

Michelle on the other hand chose Baltimore-based artist, Amy Sherald.
