The 20th annual Black Expo South took place in Columbia, SC at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center last Saturday, May 20th. The event highlights entrepreneurs, celebrities, entertainers, creatives, and business large and small that educate, empower, and enlighten the achievements of the African-American community. The morning kicked off with Black Business Ownership seminar, followed by the Small Business Credit Decision event, then a live cooking demo sponsored by Food Lion with Chef Monica, ending with a discussion with the Shelley Leek Law Firm on business rights.

By the afternoon, attendees were able to meet and greet celebrity guests like Charlamagne tha God, Disney Channel’s Skai Jackson, actor and model Kofi Siriboe, and pastor and gospel artist, Marvin Sapp. The evening closed out with the Greek Step show. The next event sponsored by Black Expo South will take place June 15th to the 16th in Greenville, SC for the Upstate Empowerment Weekend. Check out photos from the event below.
