Portia Hoover is a dynamic, high-energy entrepreneur that makes money by teaching others how to make money. Plain and simple. She has spent years running her own business and on multiple occasions, have made in a day what others took a week to earn. After dominating that position, she realized that money alone wasn’t making her happy.

She realized she needed to act on her deep desire to help others. So, she headed over to the social media world and started “leveling people up” with her online presence. Over a years time, she built a following of over one hundred ninety-six thousand, helped hundreds of online strangers that we now call “friends” increase their income within days through her Level Up E-Commerce Training Program.  She’s conducted training webinars on Shopify and Cannabis Investing, was a speaker on a radio program entitled, “Women in Business” in Dallas, and recently took business development and networking tours to China, Miami and Kentucky. Portia definitely has the connects! This woman is on fire! And we had the chance to chat it up with this amazing woman.

Who is Portia Hoover?

I’m a defender for the weak, I don’t know why, I just am. I’m also a motivator & fixer.

Why are you so passionate about helping others?

I’m passionate about helping others, because I grew up dirt poor.  My mom got sick when I was very young and my dad left us. My father leaving caused me and my other siblings to struggle. MY fight is for the kids so therefore I have to fight so hard to help the parents to prevent the kids from going through what I went through.

In it’s simplest form, tell us about your business.

My business is centered around helping everyday people become entrepreneurs.

Where do you see yourself in the next 2 years? 5 years?

Very successful, happy, loving what I do! I see myself traveling to teach and motivate others.

How do you handle setbacks?

Keep a positive attitude, stay focused, and keep working.

What is the single most profound lesson you have learned in business?

I can’t help everyone.

What advice would you give to that person who’s business is not doing so great and wants to give up?

Quitting is not an option, I know darn well you are not going to give up on your dreams  just to go and build someone else’s? If what you have been doing isn’t working, change something up, get with someone that can help you in your field, do some ground work, do something and everything but give up!!

Define success.

Success to me is being happy with what I’m doing, having more than enough to provide for my kids and my kids’ kids.
