Christopher Allen is a United States Veteran turned actor from Nashville TN. While serving in the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller, Christopher was approached and asked to get involved in community theatre. During his last year in the military, he performed in the musical “Damn Yankees” and the classic stage play “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.  The theater experience drastically changed the trajectory of Christopher’s life. The day he got out of the Air Force he headed to Los Angeles and the rest is history. Christopher landed his first television role opposite Kerri Washington on an episode of ABC’s industry-changing juggernaut “Scandal”. He went on to train at the Los Angeles City College Theater Conservatory and The Groundlings Improv School. He has also been seen on a variety of hit shows on FOX, NBC, CBS, TNT, Showtime, HBO, and in the recent nationwide release of the film “Book Club”. Christopher can currently be seen playing the recurring character of “Dennis Chambers”  on the CW’s television show “Jane The Virgin” and heard weekly on the entertainment podcast “Hollywood Hype” via Itunes, Google, and Spotify. Christopher aspires to leave his mark not only by entertaining but by volunteering his time towards youth literacy and veteran issues. He works with the Sag Aftra Foundation to promote literacy by educating and reading books to underprivileged youth. Christopher also spends time supporting veterans through non-profits such as “The Mission Continues” empowering veterans who are adjusting to life at home to find purpose through community impact and “Veterans in Media Entertainment” uniting current and former members of the military working in the film and television industry.
