With the season five premiere of Power over the past weekend, it wouldn’t be right if we didn’t get to speak to Omari Hardwick aka Ghost which he hates to be called outside of Power  fyi to all his fans.

Sitting down with Hardwick while doing press for Real to Reel which is a national short film contest and local film screening tour presented by Gentleman Jack. We were able to have an intimate candid conversation which showed us that he is definitely more than his character on the hit show. He is more than just an actor. Hardwick is also a poet, book writer, husband, father, and artist. He discusses with us how his wife helped guide his career decisions because if it wasn’t for her we would have never seen him in Being Mary Jane and Power. So, let’s just thank his wife for blessing her fine man on our television screens.

Hardwick talked to us about his music, when I tell you he will have so many collaborations on his new album it’s crazy. He says this time when Power went on hiatus he was addicted to the music and just hopes his fans really take it in and enjoy it.
