What’s one of the first fashion pieces you think of when you think of summer? A bathing suit, right? Of course, a trendy bathing suit is an absolute must to bring in the hot summer season. Whether you’re at a pool party or just catching some extra rays, we all want to select a bathing suit that will catch someone’s eye, even if it’s just to boost up our own confidence. Point is, shopping for bathing suits is one of my absolute favorites. I did a ton of research before we officially brought in summer and I found four brands that truly has me excited to lay out by the pool or hop on a boat this summer. It turns out, all these brands are black-owned, which makes me love them ever more. Here are the brands I’ll be showcasing this summer, be sure to check them out below!

I just love how this bathing suit set looks. I think it’s perfect for those with a little curves because it is fitting yet comfortable at the same time. The halter look is huge this summer and I’m loving the colors used in this bathing suit from Nakimuli.

Can we just talk about how bright and eye-catching this bathing suit is from Andrea Iyamah. I rocked this one-piece bathing suit to the lake this past Father’s Day and received so many compliments. I know this will be one of my go-tos this season.
