Congratulations are in order for Simone Biles, because the Olympian is leaving Tokyo with two medals.
After a break from a few events to focus on her mental health, the gymnast returned to compete on Tuesday, August 3rd to participate in the balance beam final. Biles scored 14.000 and earned herself the bronze medal. The team earned the silver medal from earlier in the competition.
Biles’ teammate Suni Lee won the gold medal in the individual all-around competition that took place on July 29th. She finished fifth place in the balance beam final.
Gymnast, Guan Chenchen took hope the spot with a score of 14.633, while Tang Xijing followed behind with a score of 14.233.
