North Carolina entrepreneur Sabrina Seymore has an array of talents such as Sabrina Seymore Events, travel specialist, and now she has launched The Prevailing Woman Magazine. She’s a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Administration and a Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Liberty University. A certified wedding and event planner, Seymore enjoys creating experiences that her clients will enjoy for a lifetime. Now she wants to share with her audience professional women that are making extraordinary strides in their respected fields. The first cover story is Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas plus the issue is filled with lots of engaging content from yoga to spring beauty tips. I attended her exclusive launch party in Raleigh, North Carolina at Noir, which was an inviting intimate setting of socialites and supporters including her family. There were moments filled with laughter, tears of joy, and a heartfelt speech of thanks by Founder Sabrina Seymore. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, she was greeted with lots of love and admiration for her new entrepreneurial venture. It was a great time for all that attended and I had a chance to chat with this dynamic wife, mother, and businesswoman about how she prevails.

The Prevailing Woman Launch Party at Noir Raleigh

What did you have in mind when creating The Prevailing Woman Magazine?

The promotion of empowering professional women to prevail towards their goals is why I started my magazine. I was kind of unsure on how I wanted to promote women so at first I thought about a blog or podcast but I wanted something people could have handy that they could take with them.

Who is your dream cover story?

Michelle Obama definitely.

What music do you like to listen to for inspiration?

I like all types of music so my Pandora is so different all the time.

What can we expect from The Prevailing Woman Magazine next?

I think the same thing you get now but every issue you will get more content but still promoting women professionally and personally.
