The premiere breakout program, The Phil Taitt Show took “give back” to new heights with a star-studded evening sponsored by Arm & Hammer at St. Francis College in the Founders Hall Theatre on April 29th. The program donated proceeds to the not-for-profit Unity in the Community, an organization founded by Jean Alerte and geared towards transforming the life of youth and raising funds for high-school seniors to attend college. There were special appearances by Talent from the NY Giants, BET’s The Quad, and Grammy Award Winning member of Destiny’s Child!

The Phil Taitt Show honored stars who have made a tremendous impact in the community and changed the lives of many through success in their careers, with special presentations of honoree panelists to participate in conversations about self-worth, self-confidence and self-determination. This special evening featured America’s hottest names in beauty, television, sports and entertainment who came together for a youth-oriented initiative including founding Destiny’s Child member Latavia Roberson who discussed her exit from the group, Miss Jessie’s Miko Branch discussed her late sister’s challenges with mental health, NY Giants player Jonathan Casillas discussed his challenges with bringing up a young girl in today’s society and Demetria Mckinney discussed her rise from being homeless to becoming a tv star!
