That love thing is super duper tricky.

Talking with songstress, actress and now short film producer, LeToya Luckett at the 21st Annual American Black Film Festival in Miami, Florida was an all-around win-win. She premiered part 3 to Trilogy, a visual series from her album “Back 2 Life,” that has not been released yet at ABFF in which we had a front row seat to. Before we began talking about her latest project we gushed over each other’s style and exchanged a few giggles. We definitely had a sister-friend moment that is to be remembered.

It has been eight years since LeToya Luckett released an album to her fans. “Back 2 Life” her third album as a solo-artist released May 12, 2017 is tugging at everyone’s heart, including mine. Trilogy, a visual mini-series featuring hit singles from her album such as “Back 2 Life,” “Used To,” and “In The Name” takes us on a complicated love journey that involves an unfathomable combination of understanding and misunderstanding. Sounds familiar? I’ll be the first to raise my hand.

Luckett, stars alongside Thomas Q. Jones in Trilogy, as the main players who let their love unfold in a way that is emotionally tough to watch, yet relatable to real life couples who’s had their share of relationship hardships, including the artist herself.

“We all do go back. I’ve gone back a few times in relationships. That love thing is super duper tricky. I told him if we’re going to try this again, it was going to be about actions not words.”

Check out part one and part two to Luckett’s hot and steamy, yet visually stunning Trilogy below.
