Oprah Winfrey has done it again!

Oprah has added yet another accomplishment to her list of recognition.

The media mogul just received the 2018 Golden Globe Cecil B. DeMille Award at the ceremony tonight.

Along with being honored, Winfrey’s speech hit many topics such as the story of Recy Taylor, a black woman that never received justice after being abducted and assaulted by six white men in Alabama.

“It is not lost on me that, at this moment, there is some little girl watching as I become the first Black woman to be given the same award.”

Of course, the powerful speech was given several standing ovations and the crowd often erupted in applause.

You may have noticed many of Hollywood’s stars wore black to the award show to spread movement towards sexual assault in the entertainment industry.

Reese Witherspoon presented the queen of talk shows with the award, showering her in thank yous for all she has done as a global media leader, philanthropist, producer, and actress.

Congratulations Oprah!
