Keeya King discusses growing up in poverty to becoming a privileged actress.
Growing from a young girl studying the art of acting at local studios – into a passionate woman starring as Violet Hansen in the Syfy hit series Van Helsing, Keeya King has forged her way into the acting world with an unparalleled aura of beauty. But life hasn’t always been all “peaches and cream” for the budding actress. Growing up in poverty, King wasn’t privy to acting even being a career option. She shares with SHEEN Magazine a little on her story, how she stays beautiful inside and out, and her new role on Netflix’s Madame C.J. Walker.
