The livest audience hosts of BET’s 106 & Park Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz reunited to host the 2016 BET Awards Red Carpet Pre-Show and the stars were taking the red carpet by storm.
Rocsi got the exclusive insight with BET CEO Debra Lee on the highly anticipated Prince tribute and it was one of the most highly anticipated musically tributes this awards season.
BET’s Chasing Destiny powerhouse female group June’s Diary premiered their exclusive video L.A.N.C.E. The soulful melodies of the Kelly Rowland inspired group are sure to keep the Summer hot telling ladies to watch out for those cheating guys out there.
Terrence J chatted with artist Ingrid who is signed to Beyonce’s label Parkwood released her recent EP Trill Feels and her single is “Flex” with Sevyn Streeter. Then he chatted with the BET Awards hosts acclaimed actress and funny lady dressed in a python vintage Thierry Mugler dress Tracee Ellis Ross and comedic actor Anthony Anderson showing a classic man look in his suit.
Fantasia looked amazing in a semi-nude golden dress and she premiered her video directed by Derek Blanks its called “Sleeping with the One I Love.” An alter-ego artistic story line of the many faces of 4 women in prison with romantic interludes with a crooked officer.
Artist and Covergirl Ambassador Janelle Monae rocked a black & white stripped suit with black platform heels as an ode to Prince. 90 Days Director Jennia Fredrique wore a pin up couture pink cocktail dress with a multi-colored headdress that was channeling Dorothy Dandridge. Next up was Andra Day who wore a vintage fashion orange pop culture inspired gown with a throw back to the 40s. Vanessa Simmons wore a black off the shoulder sultry Vivian Westwood.
Actress and BET Award Presenter Gabrielle Union slayed with her Marc Jacob V-neck gown. While Eva Marcille talks Covergirl for fresh new glam looks and she was wearing Yaz Couture with strappy block heel by Aquazzura in the #getthatglampic.
It was a star gazing night of the hottest in entertainment slaying all over the red carpet.
