The star-studded Global Citizen Festival is looking to be an event to remember!

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Oprah have just been locked down to headline the 2018 Global Citizen Festival in South Africa.

In addition to the power trio, there will also be a star-studded list of performers and hosts throughout the musical festival.

The Global Citizen Festival was created in order to encourage world leaders to commit to ending extreme poverty by the year 2030.

This year’s event entitled, “Global Citizen Festival: Mandela 100” will celebrate Nelson Mandela’s life and legacy. Media maven, Oprah Winfrey will deliver the keynote address to remember Nelson who would’ve turned 100 this year.

The list of performers include Ed Sheeran, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Eddie Vedder, Cassper Nyovest, D’Banj, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Femi Kuti, Sho Madjozi, and Chris Martin.

You can also expect to see Gayle King, Naomi Campbell, Sir Bob Geldof, Bozoma St. John and Forest Whitaker to host.

Global Citizen Festival will take place on December 2nd, 2018 in Johannesburg.
