Creator Beverly Bond talks connecting the dots of success in music & beyond.
Beverly reminds us of the importance of owning our magic and rocking our truth.
Over 20 years in the music industry, a new book, and notable wisdom that knows no gender, Beverly Bond is unstoppable. Her new book, Black Girls Rock! is a collection of over sixty inspirational essays and affirmations from greats such as Michelle Obama, Misty Copeland, Angela Davis, Beyoncé, Maxine Waters, and many more. We caught up with Beverly Bond at the Westchester Black Girls Rock! event in New York where she answered questions for an audience of over 100 young black girls and shared with us her secrets for success, balancing more than one passion, and her thoughts on sexism in the music industry.
