Looks like CoverGirl is finally jumping on the wagon.

Many say that 2017 was the year that beauty brands reconstructed their cosmetics in order to start doing better by women of color but to us, 2018 seems as if the beauty industry is opening their eyes a little wider to the fact that inclusitivity is a must!

Rihanna launched her beauty brand, Fenty Beauty last year and the world went absolutely crazy. Why? Because the Fenty Po Filt’r Foundation is avaliable in 40 different shades!

Now, it’s CoverGirl’s turn and we could not be more excited as the affordable makeup brand is making a huge step!

Starting this month, CoverGirl will launch it’s most inclusive shade range yet in their foundation, TruBlend Matte Made Foundation. The foundation will also include 40 different shades!

It doesn’t look like it will stop there though, According to CoverGirl Senior Vice President, Ukonwa Ojo, Ojo shared that they are hoping to embrace this factor and launch more within beauty walls everywhere!
