From the Gospelaires to early hits “Walk on By” and “Say a Little Prayer” to Grammy awards and over 130 million albums sold, Dionne Warwick has crooned her way into the hearts and households of many, while solidifying her presence for close to 60 years.

“It feels quite awesome. I did not expect to see this long,” she said.

In celebration of her 58- year career, Ms. Warwick is spreading joy by releasing a Christmas album with duets of her favorite Christmas songs, scheduled for release on October 18, 2019.

“I love Christmas,” she exclaimed. “I went to BMG and they were thrilled that I wanted to do a Christmas CD.”

Handpicked by Warwick and son, Damon Elliot, the Voices of Christmas are a perfect fit. They include the legendary Johnny Mathis, the Oak Ridge Boys, Grammy nominated Chloe X Halle, Andra Day, Aloe Blacc and several others. Produced by Damon, Dionne Warwick & The Voices of Christmas, serves as a gift to both seasoned and contemporary fans.

“I chose the songs I wanted to do and then we proceeded to match the voices to the songs,” she said. “It became quite easy to do.”

While preparing for the release of her new album, Warwick is also touring and enjoying her residency at the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Similar to every concert, she looks forward to “giving people what they come to hear” and having a good time. Her favorite parts are the duets she performs with her son and granddaughter and speaking with fans after the show.

“I get comments from them saying how much they enjoy the show,” Warwick explained.

After 58 years of hard work, Ms. Dionne is thrilled to have a new album coming out. The release brings her joy and she hopes it’ll bring joy to her fans.

“I love my music. I love my audiences. And as long as I’m able, I hope to continue to bring joy to people’s lives through music.”
