Some of you may be finding it quite difficult to get back in the swing of dressing for spring. Don’t beat yourself up too bad about it though. Almost a year has passed since you’ve stepped out in soft warm pastels, so give yourself a break. To help, we’re giving you six styles to resurrect your spring wardrobe with just three days before Easter (the most fashionable Sunday of Spring.)
Eclectic style (often misconstrued as “busy” or “tacky”) is receiving a warmer embrace now that we’ve approached this millennial era. This style works really well if you have a plethora of patterned pieces in the closet. It also demands a lot of attention.
Believe it or not, there is actually a way to articulate your affinity for the motherland without having to be fully draped and decorated. However, an astute air of confidence and patience to find the right garments are required to pull off this style.
For those with a man, cater to his lust with a little sex appeal. For those aspiring to acquire a guy, use this style as a marketing tool. The key is accentuating your best physical feature(s)! Whether it’s your full lips or long legs, dress and accessorize to bring tasteful attention to these areas.
Some call the trendy style “hipster” and/or consider it “a fad”. Influence comes from patterns amongst celebrities that are displayed in the media. If you want to bring in the spring like your idol or favorite artist, then give this style a try.
Even-kill is pretty chill. Not every day requires you to be beat from head to toe. However, being stylish is imperative! Sweatpants, hair tied, and chilling with no make-up on is only ok for a chill day around the house. A chill day on the town requires a little more attention.
Whether it’s a Throwback Thursday or Flashback Friday, going retro is a good way to keep and still wear a lot of your favorite old (and I mean old) items. When articulating the retro style, make sure to keep your hair and makeup current. Otherwise, you will look like a big no-no.
