The 31st Soul Train Awards aired on BET Networks Sunday night highlighting Erykah Badu and Faith Evans as they received the Legendary Award (Erykah Badu) and The Lady of Soul Award (Faith Evans)! Soul Train shined light on both women’s musical and career accomplishments over the last decade. The awards show was hosted by the infamous duo from 90’s sitcom Martin, Pam & Gina better known as comedians and actresses Tichina Arnold and Tisha Campbell Martin graced the stage with seriously funny skits as they performed a host of the biggest hits from previous decades such as; “You’re All I Need To Get By,” “Friends,” and “Where My Girls At?”! The opening performance was the legendary Bell Biv Devoe performing their fan favorites that kept the audience on their feet. Other performers included; Jon B, Jacquees, Koryn Hawthorne, and performances from Erykah Badu, and Lady of Soul Faith Evans!

Artists such as SZA, Normani, Raheem Devaughn were also in attendance to celebrate the 31st edition of Soul Train. Influencers such as Aaliyah Jay, and Raquel Harper (TMZ) graced the red carpet promoting their latest endeavors. Raquel has a new talk show called, Raq Rants that airs on Tuesdays on BET networks. BET’s latest scripted TV series, Carl Webber’s “The Family Business” cast including Tami Roman graced the red carpet and presented on stage as well.
