Fashion’s biggest night takes place tonight so we’re certain all eyes will be on the iconic red carpet.
All the way from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Hollywood’s finest and fashion’s best will hit the red carpet to grace us with nothing less than the best.
Even though the annual event is not televised, you can believe that we’ll be there to give you all the red carpet coverage you need.
Here’s a rundown of everything you need to know about The Met Gala 2018!
The gala’s theme this year is “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” What does this mean? Designers will showcase Catholicism influenced fashion throughout the ages. The highly anticipated exhibit will open on May 10th inside The Fifth Avenue and The Met Cloisters.
What you can expect to see:
Fashion lovers all of the world can expect to see robes and gowns inspired by the inside of Byzantine church as well as The Vatican and the Sistine Chapel.
Which designers will be featured in the exhibit:
The display which will be on display until October 8th includes designers such as Versace, Valentino, Rodarte, Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Lauren, Balenciaga, Moschino, John Galliano, Chanel, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Alaïa.
