I have definitely hopped on the subscription box bandwagon. I mean from food to jewelry, to clothes, all my shopping has been simplified to the max and there is no going back. So to help out my fellow subscription box addicts, I am here to share my thoughts on four boxes that are worth the hype.
Spoiler Alert: I love Rocksbox.
Rocksbox is a subscription-based jewelry box with a try-before-you-buy mantra featuring designers like Kendra Scott and Kate Spade, just to name a few. You start by completing your Style Profile to help the stylists select pieces that you will love. Then, once your cute blue box arrives at your door, enjoy your new jewels for as long as you want. You read that right, as long as you want!
As the leader of the ‘Indecisive’s R Us,’ I find this feature to be perfect because once my post-purchase lust fades, I can just say sayonara to last month’s pieces and eagerly await the next box from my stylists. All I have to do is send the box back in their reusable shipping bag. Of course if you can’t part ways with your newfound jewelry, you can buy it. The $21 monthly fee for the box (which you have regardless) will then be put towards your new jewels.
Overall, I found the price-point of the box to be more than reasonable for the three products you are getting, and the quality of the jewelry to be even better than expected.
The King of snack boxes. Really though, all you have to do is create an account, fill out your preferences and boom, you have snacks at your doorstep. Now I have to clarify, these aren’t your average animal crackers and peanuts that you would grab at the snack aisle. Graze has all sorts of options like the Vegan Creations, Exercise Sidekicks and Sweet Treats, all packed by Graze which means they are free of frozen or perishable ingredients. My favorite was hands-down the Sweet Memphis Barbecue, but I also loved the Honeycomb Flapjack too!
Once you start with your first box, you can log into your account and choose how often you want to get it – monthly, bi-weekly or weekly. Plus, after trying their snacks, you can go on their website and order the snack you loved again.
Please tell me that I am not the only one that gets overwhelmed in the beauty supply store. Don’t get me wrong, I love to walk around in search of new products, but without a doubt, I always find myself at the counter buying the same ole products I’ve used for years.
Thankfully, Birchbox is here to push me out of my comfort zone. This is the go-to box for all beauty junkies, with four-six deluxe samples mailed out each month for only $13-15. Like other subscription services, Birchbox is curated with your preferences in mind. After subscribing to either their monthly, six-month or yearly plan, you are able to set your personal preferences to help the experts pick the perfect beauty products for you.
What I appreciate most about Birchbox is that all the products they send are from reputable brands. In addition, the products themselves are the perfect size for me to test out and see if I want to buy again in the future, which can be done very directly on their website. Plus you can earn loyalty points on your purchases too!
In case the clever name isn’t a big enough hint, SinglesSwag is all about empowering women regardless of their current #relationshipstatus. The entire backbone of this business is making women feel their best, which is where their beauty products and accessories come into play.
Each box has either 3-4 or 6-7 full-sized products for you to enjoy, and for a decent price, I might add! I personally loved the Lauren B. Beauty Nail Growth Serum and Kevia Style Circle Pendant Long Necklace.
The sign-up process is super simple, you just pick which box you want, the original SinglesSwag, or it’s little sibling the SinglesSwag Petite. From there, choose your plan (monthly, 3 months, 6 months) and get ready for a treat!
If you aren’t already scrolling their site, I suggest you do now.
