From Singer to Radio Executive to Media Influencer Kimberly “Isis” Thomas
uses her voice to uplift the modern day woman

Author and creator Kimberly “Isis” Thomas is a sister for the people! She’s the homegirl in your head and on your timeline that’s not afraid to speak truth to power. The receipts include 20+ years of in-depth multimedia experience, including work with major outlets from Essence to Urban One and beyond. At the beginning of her career, Thomas worked hard and rose quickly achieving Executive level positions in corporate media organizations like Urban One at a young age. She now runs major platforms to empower black women from across the world.

Through her journey of personal growth and becoming an entrepreneur and mentor to students hungry to know more about her experiences, she was inspired to write her first book, “I Hear That Girl! Life Advice For Every Sista” the “I Hear That Girl” platform has taken off based on the popular response she received from mentees, “I Hear That Girl!” Thomas also launched “The Dope Black Chick” podcast in March of this year, a resource where she makes it a point to highlight Dope Black Chicks!

Just like a goddess of love and fertility, her platforms have blossomed into resources providing positive media and representation for black women. Thomas is passionate about black women’s empowerment and discusses the real issues that women face with practical, yet fascinating wisdom. She’s also expanded her reach to teach young girls media at Georgia’s Philmore Academy. “Isis” as she is affectionately called is always sharing the love and she’s up for the modern day woman’s progress.
