SHEEN Magazine was excited to be at the grand opening of Galia Lahav bridal boutique in the heart of Los Angeles’ famed Miracle Mile District. Celebrities, stylists, and fashion influencers gathered to celebrate and partake in the latest designs of renowned designer. Galia Lahav is a bridal and evening haute couture house of extravagant and intricate designs. With her signature elements of illusion backs, cascading silk tulle skirts and Italian ivory lace, she has created a brand that is synonymous with bridal.
Galia Lahav was there with daughter Osnat and designer Sharon Server greeted guests that included actresses Angela Bassett, Moran Atias, and Bar Paly.
The Butter End Cakery was also there with delectable samples of their wedding cake selections to the upbeat party music of DJ Lindsay Luv. Guests enjoyed food and wine as models showed off exquisite gowns from bridal and evening collections.
“These gowns are for the bride who doesn’t want something that’s everywhere else,” says Brielle Fisher, co-owner of the store with Maris Fyke of The White Dress. Celebrities, fashion-forward brides, and fashionistas will love Lahav’s sheer styles with elements from deep plunging necklines to meticulously detailed backs.
In the midst of awards season, nominees, presenters and performers are reserving gowns from the Black Pearl evening collection for the Grammys and the Academy Awards, yet Galia is quick to add that everyone will be treated like a celebrity at the store. “For the brides that are coming here, it is a once in a lifetime experience for them, and we treat them in a luxurious way.”
All the dresses made in Galia’s studio are handmade with the finest luxury sewing techniques. The brand can be found in over 40 stores around the world in Europe, Australia, and the United States. Over the last 30 years Galia has established a fashion empire by creating haute couture dresses and identifies herself as a designer of luxury aesthetics and detail.
