Jade Colins speaks to SHEEN about her humble beginnings to success.

New Orleans native, Jade Colin made history when she became the youngest black owner of a McDonald’s in the company’s history. Colin started working at the age of 14, at Smoothie King, where she learned the fundamentals of owning a business. She credits her success to her parents and the owners of Smoothie King. She completed the restaurant chain’s Next Generation program in hopes of owning her own, which she would later open in 2016. We had the opportunity to speak with history making CEO to find out the importance of financial literacy, how she overcame adversity, and made history – all before turning 30.
