Last night at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards, Jennifer Lopez joined the ranks of legends such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, and many more as she received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for her achievements in the music industry.

Just before accepting her award, Lopez hit the stage at Radio City Music Hall and lit up with entire stage with her electrifying performance.

Supported by a group of both male and female backup dancers, J.Lo performed her hit songs such as “Waiting for Tonight,” “On the Floor,” “Dance Again,” “Ain’t Your Mama,” “Booty,” “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” and “Get Right.”

J.Lo threw it all the way back to the early 2000s when she performed “All I Have.” The performance continued with a surprise appearance from none other than Ja Rule! The two performed their classic collab single, “I’m Real” which had the crowd going wild! The medley was concluded with “Dinero.”

Jennifer Lopez was presented her award by Shawn Mendes. She reflected on her path and giving birth to her children. Lopez also gave thanks to her mother and many members of her team who have been with her through her journey.
