West African Superstar Juliet Ibrahim brought her ”A Toast to Life Book Tour” to ATL and brought out Black Hollywood for a night of celebration. Gathering fans, friends and colleagues in the Buckhead area at the Buckhead Art and Company Gallery, Juliet Ibrahim provided an experience that allowed attendees to hear her story of empowerment after a life filled with many difficult experiences.
Juliet Ibrahim is a survivor of three civil wars, rape , domestic violence and depression where her book discusses how she survived her life struggles and pushed herself to become very successful. The evening was a vibe with a soundtrack provided by DJ Karlfornia and drinks provided by Pour Up Atlanta mobile bar. Guests were blessed with appearances by Bobby V, Mr. P from African group P Square, Samuel Adegoke, Don Flex and Nicci Gilbert who served as Moderator. Juliet Ibrahim is excited to help bridge the gap between Africa’s entertainment scene and Black Hollywood.
”ATL is Black Hollywood and their is so much work that can be done here when it comes to Nollywood having a presence in this city. I am planning to be the creator of that bridge and help connect both industries so we can all win together.”
