It was a night full of elegance, greatness and scholarship at the Legendary Weekend Black Tie Gala.
Hosted by Publisher Kim Chapman and Editor in Chief Sammi Haynes, the evening was star-studded as we celebrated 10 years of beauty cultivation while also honoring some of the biggest names in their respective fields. Kelly Price was awarded for her many years of connecting to women through her music and she even performed a couple of her most popular songs.
Sterling Coleman, a brilliant businessman who owns a variety of Zaxbys in the Atlanta, Ga and Oklahama City, Ok areas was awarded for his contributions for impacting the economy in both cities.
The night also saluted veteran actress Margaret Avery for her extraordinary work on and off the screen.
Last, but not least the honorable Judge Glenda Hatchett was also awarded for her stupendous career in law and politics.
Stars like incomparable actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, comedian Cocoa Brown, “Cutting it in the Atl” stars LaKenya Morris, Beautii J, Dedra Allen and Mushiya, HGTV “Property Virgins” Egypt Sherrod, singer Lawrence Flowers, “Saints and Sinners” Christian Keyes, “Love and Hip Hop Atl” Joseline Hernandez, “The Haves and the Have Nots” stars Angela Robinson and Renee Lawless and singer Willie Latimore all celebrated Sheen Magazine’s 10 year anniversary .
