Cleo Anthony will make even the most unbothered do a triple take when you see him. If you haven’t already experienced him on TV movie Seasons of Love, his new Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It will have you all caught up on the epicness that is Cleo.

What is your ideal type?

Ha-ha! You know what, that’s a tough one. There are so many different types of women and there’s something special about each one of them. If I limit myself to saying one, I’ve alienated everyone else. But as far as just what I like, I really like someone who has their own thing going on, and not just all up in my thing. That’s the one detail all types will have in common if they’re on my radar. They should be making their own strides and accomplishments. I’d be happy to be a part of their shine, instead of just being “arm candy” for me.

What’s an ideal date with your significant other?

I don’t like typical or basic. There are no movies involved, and there may not be food! But we would have to go somewhere different, somewhere special. I live in Orange County, California. There are these little secret pools, like natural pools created in the ocean, where the rocks and shoreline meet. To get to some of them, you actually have to hike for several miles. And when you’re there, you’re the only two people in the world. I mean, if you want to really connect with someone, don’t go to a movie, don’t go to a restaurant. Open their mind to something that they never knew existed. I believe in leaving an impression.

Do you have pet peeves when it comes to dating?

Oh yeah. I have a list of those! Ha-ha! I don’t go for that whole COMING TO AMERICA ‘whatever you like, whatever you like to do’ mentality in a woman. I know who I am, I know what I want. I want to know what you like. Then that’s also tied to women wanting to make themselves my wife immediately.
