Looking for impeccable service and a life of luxury in your home or commercial space? Well, look no further because we were introduced to the Cleaning Guru, Marcus LaBon who is the founder of Riches Luxury Cleaning. With over ten years of hospitality experience under his belt, he has created an empire brand who is on a mission to make the entire city of Atlanta squeaky clean! Trust us, you’ll thank us later!

What inspired you to create Riches Luxury Cleaning?

Well, I am a 29-year-old entrepreneur living in the city of Atlanta. I started a business called Riches Luxury Cleaning to cater to metro Atlanta. We provide luxury services to both residential and commercial properties.

Is this a one-man job or do you have a team that helps you create a luxury service throughout the city of Atlanta?

Usually, there are two people. If it is a commercial property, we bring in about four people. It really just depends on how large a job it is.

How do you believe your 10 years of hospitality experience has helped shape you for this career?

Oh man! I’ve worked at over ten hotels up and down the east coast, three-star hotels up to five-star hotels. I believe working with different people, being in different departments, and meeting the different people at hotels is important. I worked in the housekeeping department as a housekeeper and manager. I worked at the front desk, which taught me how to socialize with people and meet their needs, I’ve done just about everything in the hotel business.

At Riches, my motto is “We exceed the expectations instead of meeting the expectations of each client.” That’s something I was taught working at hotels.

Since creating your own company, do you believe it has taught you anything you didn’t know about yourself beforehand?

That’s a good question! I’ve always been an entrepreneur, someone that wants to work for themselves. I guess I can say that I always knew how to create a business but I didn’t necessarily know the steps. Most of us just go out and do stuff but I had to learn the foundation of a business and the necessary steps like getting an LLC, getting insured, dealing employees, and being patient! I have definitely learned patience with my business because it wasn’t created overnight.

Can you offer your best advice to our readers?

You can start from nothing but if you take the time and the necessary steps, you can build everything that you wanted to be, probably your dreams, and your aspirations. My main struggle was how to transition from working a 9 to 5 to work for myself. I was fortunate and blessed enough to be able to take care of my bills and feed myself on a day to day basis as well as my family.

Do you plan on expanding your company? Where do you hope to see yourself and Riches Luxury Cleaning services in the years to come?

Yes definitely! Right now we’re planning on going out to Los Angeles to do some cleaning for BET week. We also have a three-city tour coming up: Birmingham, Alabama, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Wilmington, Delaware. The first of that tour is to extend the brand in that area because within the next two years, I would like to have at least two other locations for the Riches Luxury Cleaning Services.
