On Sunday September 13th at 8:00pm, Marquette Collection by Philadelphia native and designer Ty’ron Perrin debuted “Untitled”, a highly anticipated, groundbreaking collection for Spring/Summer 2016. Marquette Collection has been an ever-evolving couture, high-end fashion haus, specializing in one-of-a-kind pieces for celebrity clients.
“Untitled” was among one of the most modern and millennial collections to premier during New York Fashion Week, which paid homage to fashion icons such as Beyoncé and Laura Govan. The collection displayed a collection of clean silhouettes, solid lines, and geometric prints. Although Perrin named his new collection “Untitled”, viewers of the collection describe it to be for a woman who is powerful, undefined and unapologetic.
Some of Hollywood’s most elite and influential celebrities attended the standing room only event. R&B sensation Jazmine Sullivan made an appearance with manager Pam Sullivan. Also in attendance were R&B girl group The Rawyals, former Bad Girls Club Season 5 member Cat Washington, Sheen Editor-in-Chief Sammie Haynes, and fashion designer Suede Square.
One major treat of the night was supermodel Sandra Woodley, who opened the show in a stunning yellow tuxedo jacket and a black tiered feathered skirt and she also closed the show in an alluring, white two piece feathered crop top and matching midi skirt.
Some other stunning pieces premiered included a black, yellow and white geometric kimono style jacket with matching shorts, a well fitted knee-length dress with a sheer lace bodice, a structured white jacket with sleeves adorned with an asymmetrical hem, and a white short set with a deep cut-out with an interconnected elaborate cape.
