Jasmine is Founder of Jasmine & Co, a one-stop-shop Virtual Assistant Agency that has a team of phenomenal VA’s that provide endless support with the goal to “Create Solutions For Your Business Needs.” Jasmine’s efficient and creative mind has helped many business owners grow their companies by simply taking care of the tasks that allow them to free up their time and focus on growth. Jasmine work ethics has produced a business that is making her name known globally. Listen in as we get to know this powerhouse of a woman.

Who is Jasmine at her core?

Jasmine is a bubbly and energetic person to be around. She helps everyone around her in many facets and she’s always striving to be a better/strong person! She’s actually an introvert but has no issues speaking and projecting when needed! She is a strong black woman that is one of the most optimistic people you will ever meet and she’s so positive. Her smile can light up a room. Fun fact about Jasmine is that she’s a competitive bowler 🙂

Why are you so passionate about helping others?

I love seeing progress and joy on others faces when something brings light to their day. I’ve always been the person to help the next person in any way that I possibly can! It’s just in me to serve and give and I never expect anything in return. I do it from the kindness of my heart, it’s instilled in me.

What would the 21-year-old Jasmine tell the Jasmine of today?

It’s your time to shine! Keep pushing because you are already at the top of the hill! Be yourself and continue doing what you’re doing because you’re amazing and you have a lot of offer and give! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Oh, and watch your circle – if they aren’t on the level you’re on mindset wise, let them go.

Tell us about your business?

We are a one-stop-shop for small business owners offering General admin, Marketing & Tech services.

Think of us as your productivity tool. We take the Administrative/Marketing/Tech tasks off your hands which in return helps you grow your business.

What is the greatest lesson that you have learned in ministry/business?

Knowing my numbers! It took me 2 years to get where I needed to be and part of that was me not sitting down and really knowing my numbers! There was a point in my business where I tried to scale and did it all completely wrong. I was losing money instead of profiting.

What advice would you give to that person whose business is not doing so great and wants to give up?

I would say please don’t give up. Success and entrepreneurship don’t come easy – if it was easy, everyone would be doing it! The key to getting to success is having a routine, grinding (not leaving any money on the table as Jessica would say lol), consistency, commitment, collaboration, and many other things. You also must be able to embrace challenges because when you are building your ship, those challenges will come. You also have to have the drive internally to want to keep pushing and once you keep your eye on the prize, remember your motivation/your why you will soar! You can go as high as you want! You can do anything you put your mind to.

Define success.

Success to me is having financial freedom, being able to spend as much time as you want with your significant other and with family and not having a cap on your income. I believe that if you achieve this, you are deemed as success in your own book. Another thing for me knowing that I have 1 year worth of bills that can be paid in the event that a life tragedy happens! I know my family will be okay.
